This time skynet got the amd64 treatment, it was a bit of a messy upgrade but all is well again.

More upgrading

Posted in stuff on January 30th, 2006 by darkskye

Well Apache2 has been out long enough now to have matured slightly, so I figure I may as well give it a test, and see if it can be dropped in on skynet instead of the olde 1.3 line its currently using.

Of course, this may all stop and never happen if I get bored of waiting for it to build and be tested on tyr, so time will tell.

Sane sleep & housekeeping

Posted in personal, stuff on January 23rd, 2006  (Current Mood: goth/thoughtful) by darkskye

For the second time this week* I sucessfully managed to go to sleep at a sane(ish) time (1am), and wake up at a sane(ish) time (6am) feeling quite alert and awake.

With this new found spirit I’ve also continued some much over due housekeeping on skynet, which began a couple of days ago when I removed all the un-required applications that had been collecting over time.

With a bit of luck I may even get started on dsmirc again today, but I may go to mecca and get some coffee first .. or spar, as its nearer. (I’ll probably just stick with instant, because thats in the kitchen and even nearer)
