And who am I to argue with the almighty 8 ball?
Another clerical job has turned up at UWA, slightly better pay than the last one and seemingly slightly easier to interview for; and the 8 ball just told me to go for it, so I will!

In case you are wondering, no I don’t usually leave important descisions like this up to the 8 ball, in fact this is the first time I did.

Closing date for this one is 20051116, so I have just over a week to get the application done. Which shouldn’t be too hard since all I have to change is the “Further information” and the address for one of my referees.

I’ll not tackle it today since I’m attempting a forced reboot of my body clock by not sleeping during the day (we’ll see how that goes!) after getting about 10 minutes sleep last night. But given all that I’m in a supprisingly good mood, although that may be tea related.

It appears that enthusiasm isn’t enough to get a job in this town, and it went to someone who was actually qualified and experienced in the field. Oh well back to looking again.

Unfortuantly the market is looking kind of dry at the moment, and the council have re-vamped their jobs pages now and they suck.

Roll on next Thursday when the new vacancies are out, until then lets see if I can’t un-timeshift my sleep by 12 hours or whatever it is out by and return to normal, okay sane, sleeping patterns.
